So I'm finally feeling the pressure of prelims and really regretting for wasting my past 1week+.. ): Looked at my timetable and I realised I didn't complete most of the things I planned to.. So I slept at 345am last night trying to do as much as possible.. But it still won't change the fact that I wasted so much time away ):

So it's the 2 weeks prelims study break! Sat for the GP paper last thurs and it was H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. ): Almost wanted to give up when there was only 30mins left cos I was only on the second page and I knew I was going to flunk this paper again.. Almost cried but I stopped, prayed and continued. Just hoping to pass GP! But still want to thank God for helping me calm down and helping me complete the paper(: Went to 'Strictly Pancakes' with Chyna, Janelle and Chihyin after that and the pancakes there are seriously AWESOME! Best pancakes ever! We ordered Garlic Buttered Prawns, Peanut butter + kueno bueno + vanilla ice cream and mushrooms + potatoes! All taste great but my favourites was garlic buttered prawns! Forgot to take pictures though ): They look super yummy too! (Hahaha maybe cos all of us were starving by the time we got there..) Want to go back there again!

Okay, got to stop daydreaming and start studying!

Studied with anne and her boyfriend at the library!

First day of school and I woke up later! What's worse is that I was going to have a paper at 8!
Forgot to turn on the vibration mode after studying the in the library the day before and so I didn't wake up on time. Kor came and woke me up at 744 and asked if I needed to go school. GOT THE BIGGEST SHOCK OF MY LIFE AND QUICKLY WOKE UP TO PREPARE. Didn't brush my teeth (but I used mouthwash k!), didn't comb my hair, didn't wear socks, changed into my uniform and quickly left home! Got on the cab at 752 and reached school at 759! Security officer didn't allow cab to go in so I had to run in the long stretch looking like an idiot -.- Reached hall at 801 and yay, the rest of cohort was still settling in! :D GOD IS GREAT!! (:

Today is day 3 of exams already! 6 more days to go!

UMAD 9 definitely clicked the refresh button of my walk with God (:
This UMAD really felt different compared to the other UMADs I went to..
I felt and saw God's love for His people during the camp which really touched me. The theme of the camp 'kNOw God kNOw Love' was really appropriate for me now cos I really lack the love for the people around me.. If I can't even love the people around me, how can I go out and reach out to other people and bring them to God right?
Dear God, I pray that you'll fill me with your love so that I can love your people like how you have loved me. I pray that this desire to grow closer to You would not slowly fade away but will grow stronger day by day. I know you heard me! In Jesus' name, Amen!

Stepping Down Ceremony
It's so surreal I still haven't accept the fact that it's really over..
Thank you 33rd Student Council for all the memories that you've given me(:
Open House, Teachers' Day, Grad Night, Orientation, Friendship Week, Feedback Week
When I looked back and see how far I've come with the council, I realised how much they've been part of my life for the past one year.. Council have never meant so much to me until I actually sat down and look back how much it has given me..
In the council video, I said that I won't join council given another chance cause I don't think I'm good enough for council.. I really felt that way because I don't think I contributed much and I would be able to do more in another CCA. Council is more of event-planning which is not what I'm good at so I always feel like a burden during meetings. It was only until Orientation that I felt that I was actually doing something for 33rd, for SAJC. After the ceremony when the teachers were giving their speeches, Mr Chua said something like 'whenever I see the video and hear you say that you're not good enough, I really.....' (at this moment, he looked like he's going to cry and OMG, I actually made him want to cry??) then he continued with something like 'I have never expected you to think this way. When the teachers were deciding who to award the meritorious award, we had no questions and know you deserved it..' Do I really deserve it? I still doubt my abilities but I'm really thankful towards the teachers for having so much faith in me(:
To be honest, of course I wanted to get the award, but deep down in my heart, I feel that I don't deserve it and kept telling myself to keep my hopes down.. I really got a shock when they read my name.. Shocked, not surprised.. Then I asked God 'Is this true? Is this really what you're giving me? But why?' So many questions and yet I had the assurance that I'll get my answers.. Does Mr Chua's answers really reflect what You feel? Aftet thinking about it the whole day, I choose to believe that it was God's answer to me. Thank you for placing me in the 33rd Student Council, for allowing me to experiencce so much more things, thank you God(:
Now that council journey has come to an end, it's time to close the chapter and get ready for the next, A level's.
Dear God, thank you for helping me through this 1year++, pray that you'll continue to be my side supporting, encouraging and guiding me as I prepare myself for A's. Amen.

If I don't take this time and prepare myself, I don't think I have time in term 3 and 4 to catch up. Still lacking so much in all my subjects I feel like giving up already ): Want to do well so badly but my efforts don't seem to be able to match up with my desire ): Lacking the determination and motivation to go on.. A lot of what ifs have been popping up in my mind.. What if I still don't do well in BT2? What if I don't do well in Prelims? What if I fail A's? So many uncertanties makes me feel that my efforts will definitely be futile ):

Why are you behaving this way?

It's not like you haven't done it to someone else before. It happens to me every now and then when we are together but I choose not to say anything cos I know I'd rather be in this position than let one of you feel left out. I really wish we can talk about it soon. Avoiding us and treating like we're not there is not the solution. How long must I wait before you are finally willing to talk to us? What do you want us to do?

Got back PW results today! It was a B..

I know the effort that I put in will only get me a B but deep down I really wanted an A.. Then miss du asked me if I was okay cos I was crying.. Then I told her I know I deserved a B but I really wanted an A.. Then she said, 'don't let that happen again'

This line really hit me. I don't want to collect my results next year and regret not studying hard.. I cannot not put in my best and yet still expect good grades.. I should stop taking everything for granted.. Dear God, please please help me pick myself up and grant me the self-discipline to work hard. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Was feeling really upset with myself so I went to surf the net and I went to cym's website..
I went to read the testimonials and.. I just realised I have been doing this all on my own, relying on my own strength.. I used to start praying before I start studying!!
I guess that's why studying these few times haven't been that productive..

SAJC ORIENTATION 2011! :D

The past 4 days of orientation was A-MA-ZING! I like to think back and see how much they have bonded over the past few days(: It was pretty awkward on the first day.. especially during icebreakers game! Hahahha, I bet they thought I was some siao zha bor! Was shouting like crazy so that they can hear me and trying very hard to get everyone involved.. Even getting them to share their names was difficult! Everyone was soft and shy ):
But things got better! Especially after station games! Yay! We took an OG shot at the fold-canvas station! Day ended with us exchanging numbers(:
Everyone grew MUCH closer after day 2! I think especially after they all ganged up and pour a bucket of water over me.. Grrrrr... Hahahha kidding! As long as they're willing to break down their barriers with each other righttt! :D
Then we had the weekend to rest and rejuvenate! WOOHOOO!
Got most of my voice back and the clan masters rehearsed for the upcoming skits(:
Had reunion dinner with both maternal and paternal side!
AND.. ORIENTATION CONTINUED!
2 new members on day 3!!
Amazing race got cancelled!! BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
So we had OG LUNCH instead! :D
We went Nex! I couldn't stay for long cos we had to go back and prepare for council intro and finale skits.. But time was well spent chatting with some of the OG kids! (:
Day 4! We went out to KFC for lunch! Chatted with some of them again(: Then we had to go back school for subject registration but... IT WAS RAINING!!!!
Had to run under the rain (sian fringe get wet how)!!! Heehee but it was quite fun lah, seeing them run like that.. LOLOL. ANYWAYS, after subject reg, WE HAD OG BONDING TIME!!
Played this running game with them (at first so many say don't want, in the end all laughing like crazy)!!! Heehee it's the one chaser one runner then the runner have to run to a pair and one of the pair becomes the runner game. But we had to stop the game cos more OGs were coming into the hall!! (everyone wanted to continue!!) Yup, we tried to play other bonding games but we FAILED! Took a clan picture And it was songs of the saints time!
Then we had finale prep and then it was FINALEEEEE!!

Wow, the last time I blogged was last yearrr!
School started this week and I'm feeling pretty much feeling quite tired already.. Reaching home after 9 every day isn't something I really enjoy..
But still! Orientation is in less that 2 weeks' time and so many things are not confirmed yet! Have to settle cheers and skits and finale programme.
PLUS, MSA WEEK IS THIS COMING WEEK.
But of course, I've been able to survive this long tiring week by God's strength! Heehee, have been reading the bible every day and keeping to the timeline thing that Pastor Anthony gave us(: Hopefully I'll be able to read the bible faithfully everyday(:

AHHHH, SELECTED AS ONE OF CLAN MASTERS FOR ORIENTATION 2011!

Mmm, not trying to be arrogant. But God seemed to have been sending signs to tell me about it.. So I wasn't quite shocked when I heard about it. I was just... reluctant. I don't know, I guess I was reluctant to have to pick up such a heavy responsibility.. But the bulk of the reluctance is due to fear. Fear that I would make a lot mistakes, fear that I would let down the hopes that people have put on me..

Dear God, I pray that you will be here with me throughout this entire journey, from preparation to execution. Please guide me in leading my clan, guide me in making the right decisions and most importantly to guide me to lead and serve with humility. I pray that the time spent with the fellow council mates would be constructive. Help us not only have efficient meetings, but also help us forge stronger bonds with each other. I pray that you would keep all of us in good health as we prepare for the orientation and execute it. Please be with us all the way through! Trusting in You in all that I do, relying on Your strength and not mine, doing Your will and not disobey.

Cried yesterday while preparing for math because I felt so helpless ): Was stuck at a lot of questions and I was really worried I wouldn't be able to do anything for today's paper. Slept at 1.30am and my back was aching like crazy cause I was sitting at the same seat for many many hours. The last time I cried over an exam was mmm, last year mid years? I can't remember, but the feeling of crying over AN EXAM is simply crraazzzyyyy. Thank you God for helping me today during the exam(: I know I couldn't have done it without you, for the other subjects also.. Tomorrow's the last paper already, God, I'm just praying that you'll help me go through it and fill my brain with all the answers! hahahahahaha.

UMAD8 also made me realized how important the goodies are to me(: Especially when Nat fell on the last night, my heart literally sank. Butttt, it was because of that fall, that showed us how great God can be.. He touched many people's hearts that night and I'm sure everyone will keep the memory of that night close to their heart..

Dear God, thanks for being in my life faithfully and stayed there for me when I almost stopped believing in you. I love you God, and I know you love me too. Please give me the discipline to continue to do QT so that I'll continue to grow and share a closer walk with you. Amen.

Liying and Chesna came and sat for awhile, took a few pics and we went home already. Though the time spent with them was short, it was great, fabulous. Guys, I wish this happens everyday. But I'm old enough to know this is part and parcel of life and I'll just have to adapt. But part of me doesn't wants to accept this. Can we still do this every now and then when we're free? :x

Haven't updated for quite some time..
JC life, haven't been that great. Commendation prac ends at 10 and by the time I reach home, I only have time to bathe and eat and I'll have to go to sleep if not I won't be able to take it the next day.. Sigh, commendation quick some please!

Am typing this while trying to solve some physics question. Bahh, haven been doing homework almost the whole day! But didn't really complete a lot lah, HAHAHA. Monday is coming soon and I'm dreading it. 6 hours of sleep every day is not good and it makes me feel like dying every morning. I know, I'm contradicting myself. Went back to secondary school yesterday. Saw ex- classmates! (: Sigh, it feels kind of weird seeing them after so long. Though some I met only a week ago or so, it just feels different. I know some of them will see this but I just have to blog this. I still love you guys okay! I.. just.. don't really like going back to school and see all of you in tpj and having so much in common. You guys talk about the people in your school and I just sit there and listen. I.. am not used to it. But then.. seeing gm people makes me happier in a way tooo. Got into SA Science! (:
Gosh, almost died this morning! Was trying super hard to get some sleep since it was the last weekday sleeping in, plan totally failed! I received like 5msges in total. And my phone rings again if I don't read the message. So! My phone rang like 10 TIMES! Super pekcek. And when I got up I realised I got my period. x2 pekcek!

But anyway! Went to the hangout with the meinus! HAHAHHA. Huiqing only joined us afterwards for neoprints! Hahaha, yes! We took neoprints! Twice somemore! Heehee. Only reached home at 9, which is quite late, considering the part that we wanted to go home for dinner. Yea, I'm having dinner now. ): AND I have to wake up at 545 tomorrow to bathee!
